Surface Pro 3 is Microsoft's latest device to carry on the company's grand vision of a tablet that can replace the laptop. The new Surface Pro features a larger 12-inch touchscreen and runs on Intel Core processors, making it a more compelling laptop replacement. Microsoft also optimised the Surface Pro 3 for note taking and even more accurate graphics work of Photoshop with the included Surface Pen.
A Device for Doing More Microsoft Surface Pro 3 wants to eliminate the need for carrying a tablet and a laptop while on the move. It is sleek and light enough as a tablet for watching movies, reading books, or browsing the web and comes with powerful processors which combined with a keyboard cover accessory, multi- position kickstand, and ability to run the Windows 8.1 turns the Surface Pro 3 into a full-fledged laptop contender.
Windows 8.1 means the Surface Pro 3 runs full desktop applications like the Office. It comes with a new kickstand design with multi- positioning, which is much practical than the one-position and two-position kickstands offered by the first generation and second generation Surface Pro tablets. The keyboard cover (Type cover) is now bigger, which will make them more comfortable to use.
Microsoft also improved the Pen experience with better integration with OneNote for a more natural note taking experience. Just click the top of the Surface Pen to open a OneNote page, so you can take notes or mark-up documents as soon as the need arises. Your notes are synced with the cloud so you can access them from multiple devices. It also comes with palm block technology that allows you rest your hand on the screen when writing.
Microsoft is also working with its partners to optimise the Surface Pro 3 and the Surface Pen for other apps to take it beyond note taking. Photoshop Creative Cloud is one example, which will be bringing more accuracy and line precision for artists and creatives.
The Surface Pro 3 are powered by fourth generation Intel Core i3, Core i5, or Core i7, which brings more options compared to the Surface Pro 2 , which was limited to the Intel Core i5 processor. They feature 4GB or 8GB of RAM with 64GB, 128GB, 256GB, or 512GB built- in storage.
Surface Pro 3 features a 12-inch touchscreen with a resolution of 2160 x 1440 pixels. It features a 5 megapixels camera with 1080p HD video on the front and rear sides. A USB 3.0 port is provided with a mini DisplayPort that connects to a monitor and can deliver up to 4k (ultra- HD) resolution.Microsoft Surface Pro 3 Specs Here are the specs of the Surface Pro 3:
